Twelve academics and a group of students of GITAM University & Andhra University visited Brandix India Apparel City (BIAC) in Atchutapuram recently. The tour was conducted with the objectives of building interaction with the university academics and BIAC staff, while showcasing BIAC as a potential employer for university graduates. Academics and students from disciplines such as engineering, technology, architecture and management took part in the tour.

Professor G. Madhusudhana Rao, Director, Research & Development Centre of GITAM University said, “The visit to Brandix was an extremely important visit to an apparel production site and gave us the exposure on how we can contribute our expertise to the industry. We hope Brandix would grow to global expectations.”

A group of principals from 27 of schools in Atchutapura, located at close proximity to Brandix India Apparel City (BIAC), visited the site recently. These principals were from both private and public institutes and represented elementary, junior and high schools.

BIAC conducted this tour with the objectives of building relationships, goodwill and rapport with its immediate stakeholders and to showcase BIAC as a development gateway for the region.
