Brandix Apparel India Limited
Brandix Apparel India Limited is the first Brandix apparel manufacturing facility in India. It commenced commercial operations in January 2007, at a temporary location in Visakhapatnam, with first exports shipments to Victoria’s Secret made in April 2007. The state-of-the-art new facility of Brandix Apparel India, spanning 30-acres is presently constructed in BIAC. The unit is set to be operational in BIAC by March 2008, with the mission to be the World’s Largest Underwear Solutions Provider.

Brandix Apparel India Training Center
A fully functional training facility is also operational in Vizag. The center acts as a nexus, to provide talented operators for future supply chain partners in BIAC. With already 400 qualified personnel from this training institute, involved in the commercial operations, the training facility continues to train over 400 personnel at any given time. 

Comprehensive training on all aspects of apparel manufacturing are given to the trainees for a three month period prior to them being qualified for commercial production, empowering locals to become a part of world class apparel manufacturing and thus providing new working opportunities and livelihoods for the Vizag community.

Mauritius based Compagnie Mauricienne de Textiles (CMT) is to set up a large scale apparel manufacturing unit on an 84 acre site at BIAC which is expected to be completed by late 2008.
