The Senior Management at Brandix India and Teejay India extended a warm welcome to Smt. Darshana Vikram Jardosh, Minister of State for Railways & Textiles, Government of India, Shri G.V.L. Narasimha Rao, Member of Rajya Sabha, and Shri P.V.N Madhav, Ex-Member of Legislative Council on their visit to Brandix India Apparel City on 29 September 2023. Mr. Neil Rosayro, Country Head, Brandix India gave a welcome speech which was followed by a presentation on the Apparel Park, and Teejay India. The team went around the Apparel Park, visited Teejay India and Brandix Apparel India - Unit 1 where they interacted with associates on the production floor. The team was impressed by the world-class infrastructure and sustainable practices that position BIAC as the preferred destination for apparel and textile industries.
Smt. Jardosh appreciated Brandix’s contribution to the region in generating employment for over 20,000 people, with 85% being women. Noting the potential of the textile and apparel manufacturing sector, she also expressed great interest in welcoming more industries and nurturing its growth in the country.
